- Former co-owner of Central Texas Biofuels (CenTex) where he handled sales and biofuel feedstock purchasing both in the U.S. and South America.
- Over ten years experience in the oil and gas trading industry
- Currently a Partner and Director of Operations for International Ocean Trading, LLC.
- Prior to his affiliation in the oil and gas trading industry, Tom was a television announcer in the city of Chicago. For 17 of his 20 years in television, he was the announcer for the Chicago Bulls and has five NBA Championship rings.
- During that time, Tom took advantage of his status to develop an extensive contact file of major refiners in the USA.
- Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia
