WHY OUR RENEWABLE DIESEL is innovative

The graph below describes the chemistry – comparison of petroleum diesel, biodiesel and our preferre

  • Pure drop-in fuel  tcan be blended in any proportion with petroleum fuel; suitable as a blending component for EN590 or ASTM 975 diesel
  • The high cetane and low density of our Green Diesel can enhance your diesel pool’s performance characteristics
  • Requires no changes to fuel infrastructure or vehicle technology
  • Up to 85% lower greenhouse gas emissions compared with diesel from petroleum fuel, based on our lifecycle analysis; ultra-low sulfur, low NOX emissions
  • Excellent performance at both cold and warm temperatures
  • Stable, not oxygenated

Between biodiesel and renewable diesel, there is no question which is a better fuel.

High density: FAME Biodiesel density is higher than most diesel specifications allow. This means that for each FAME molecule added to the diesel pool, a lighter molecule needs to be removed. This shrinks the overall diesel pool.

Low blend limits: Due to stability and decomposition issues, many car manufacturers have concluded that FAME biodiesel should be limited to 5-7 vol% of diesel. If this limit is exceeded, many engine manufacturers will void their warranties. Both renewable diesel and jet fuel can be used as a "drop in fuel". that means they don't need to be blended with petroleum diesel to be used.

We also have an innovation to make our renewable diesel even better, especially in cold weather. That added flexibility will allow the end user to use the fuel more readily in colder weather. That’s the cold flow spot in the graph.

Our technology partner called us “The Dream Team” of renewable diesel. They like our ideas for technology improvement and feel that it will be an upgrade.

This white paper goes into a lot of detail on what renewable diesel is.

This white paper explains why the graph below is so telling on how advanced this fuel is:

Renewable Jet as good or better than petroleum jet fUEL

THE BENEFITS OF RENEWABLE JET FUEL

  • Renewable jet fuel, in a 50/50 blend is far superior to commercial grade Jet fuel.
  • Planes will fly further (aromatics)
  • The freeze point is 10 degrees better
  • Thermal stability (engine deposits) is excellent

All of these benefits  mean less down time for the plane.

Our Green Jet Fuel could be a drop in fuel, but also can be blended in a 50/50 ratio with petroleum-based jet fuel and that mixture offers significant advantages over petroleum jet fuel:

  • Can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 65-85% compared with petroleum-based fuels, based on  our partner's lifecycle analysis.
  • Has shown higher energy density in flight, which allows aircraft to fly farther on less fuel
  • Meets or exceeds critical jet fuel specifications, such as: flash point, freeze point, stability and heat of  combustion
  • Drop-in replacement fuel that requires no changes to aircraft technology or fuel infrastructure

This jet fuel has been approved by the US military and commercial aviation
